Gay rights advocates don't want Amazon to select Austin or Dallas for the company's second headquarters. Several gay groups' launched an advocacy campaign, "No Gay? No Way!" claiming a total of nine cities on the short list of 20 Amazon HQ2 finalist cities should be rejected. The gay advocates say those cities are in states that don't protect people from discrimination over sexual orientation or gender identity.
Besides Dallas and Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, Columbus, Indianapolis, Miami, Raleigh, and the DC suburbs of northern Virginia, are recommended for Amazon's H2Q rejection by the gay advocacy groups.
