Cody Alan Nominated for ACM National On-Air Personality of the Year

Cody Alan is headed to the ACM Awards!

The CMT radio and television host is nominated for National On-Air Personality of the Year for his work on CMT After MidNite with Cody Alan, the ACM announced today (Feb. 7).

A previous two-time ACM winner, Cody and radio counterpart Marley Sherwood celebrated the nomination in studio with Dan + Shay and a shot of tequila in honor of the duo’s latest single.

“It’s great to be nominated, and I can’t wait to see Crook and Chase win. I did think it was a little presumptuous when Charlie Chase asked me to write his acceptance speech,” Cody jokes.

Also nominated in the National On-Air Personality of the Year category are Bobby Bones, Amy, Lunchbox and Eddie (The Bobby Bones Show); Terri Clark (Country Gold with Terri Clark); Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase (Crook and Chase Countdown); and Ty Bentli, Kelly Ford and Chuck Wicks (Ty, Kelly & Chuck).

The winner will be announced April 14 during the Radio Winners Reception in Las Vegas.

The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena one day later on April 15.

Look for the full list of nominees to be announced in early March.
