Alex Goot Teams Up With Final Four Contestants for "Wolves" Cover (VIDEO)

The competition on The Four: Battle for Stardom is as intense as ever, especially as we are at the finale point. But when The Four aren't rehearsing, or on stage trying to defend their chairs, they're singing off stage. And this time with singer/songwriter/YouTuber Alex Goot.

Alex met up with the final Four: Zhavia, Candice Boyd, Evvie McKinney, and Vincint Cannady to create something really special: a cover of Selena Gomez & Marshmello's "Wolves."

Alex sat down with Zhavia, Evvie, Vincint, and Candice during a creative session to work towards incorporating all their amazing, unique voices into the cover.

In a behind-the-scenes video of how the cover came together, fans get a look at how the final Four interact with each other, and work together. Vincent said of working with Alex, "I've been a fan of his for a while. I've watched his YouTube channel blow up, and I've seen the collaborations he's done."

Alex has grown a tremendous following on YouTube, and he explains of his process, "Doing cover songs, I listen to the song about 300 times in a row, vibe out to it, see what kind of chords I could change up, [and] try to feel out what the lyrics are trying to say."

In addition to talking about the great talent of their competitors, each of The Four opened up about what music means to them. Zhavia said, "Music is my passion. It allows me to express myself," while Vincint explained, "It's the one thing that makes me feel safe." Evvie added, "No matter what is happening in life, if I have music, I'm gonna be alright."
