Kelly Osbourne Shares Heartbreaking Text From Dad Ozzy Amid Self-Isolation

Kelly Osbourne was finally able to visit with her mom and dad after three weeks apart.

The 35-year-old shared a series of photos to Instagram showing her family practicing safe social distancing around their pool. Ozzy is seated in a chair while Sharon is to his left and all are wearing protective masks and gloves.

“Today was the first time I got to see my parents in almost 3 weeks!!! Even though I did not get to hug them,” she wrote. “At this point I will take what I can get.”

On the next slide, she shared a truly heartbreaking text from Ozzy after her visit. He wrote: “It was so loverly [stet] seeing you today Toddles. It breaks my heart that I couldn’t give you a kiss and a hug.”

On Friday (March 27) Osbourne shared an update on her dad's health with Entertainment Tonight and revealed he recently went to Panama for stem cell treatment — and it's been helping!

“Seeing after one treatment of stem cell what has happened and the progress that he's made is mind blowing," she says. "He wants to get up. He wants to do things. He wants to be part of the world again,” she explained. “He's walking better. He's talking better. His symptoms are lessening. He is building the muscle strength back that he needs after his spine surgery.”

She said now that everything is falling into place her family feels hopeful for his recovery.

A few days ago, she started the #StayAtHomeForOzzy initiative on Instagram urging people to stay indoors and self-isolate: “ these are the sacrifices we must make. I stay home for my mum and dad. If you don't have anyone to stay home for I beg you #StayHomeForOzzy.”
