Dollar General Baby Cough Syrup Recalled For Causing Diarrhea, Vomiting

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A baby cough syrup sold at Dollar General stores nationwide is being recalled because it can cause gastrointestinal illness. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the cough syrup, produced by Kingston Pharma, LLC, could be contaminated with a bacteria that can lead to vomiting and diarrhea.

The recalled bottles of DG™/health NATURALS baby Cough Syrup + Mucus are labeled Lot KL180157 with UPC code 8 54954 00250 0. They have an expiration date of 11/20.

No illnesses in connection with this cough syrup have been reported.
