A new poll conducted by Dermstore finds that anti-wrinkle products are no longer for just the 'over 40' crowd. The survey finds that 30% of women under the age of 35 are regular users of anti-wrinkle products, and that includes 20% of women under 24. And that’s certainly younger than women of other generations, with the average millennial starting to use them by 26, while someone who is 55 likely didn’t start using such products until 47.
Visible signs of aging seems to be a huge fear of a lot of young women these days. Overall, 28% of women 25 and under say they “regularly” worry about getting wrinkles, with the number going up to 42% for those 25 to 34, and 54% for those 35 to 44. Once you hit 55 though those worries seem to decrease.
The survey finds that 20% of younger women would consider plastic surgery to fight wrinkles, as compared to only 11% of older women.
