There are a lot of things that can result in the end of a friendship, but according to a new survey, one thing that’s likely to guarantee a falling out with a friend is money.
According to report by Bank of America, 43% of people say they’d end a friendship if someone owed them money, and believe it or not, it doesn’t even have to be all that much dough. Overall, 36% of people say they’d kiss a friend goodbye if they owed them between $100 and $500, but one in three would end things over a debt of $100 or less and 4% would call it quits over $10 or less.
Of course, it would just be easier to ask those friends for the money they owe, but not many people are willing to deal with the confrontation. In fact, 44% of people say they’d rather talk about family drama, weight, their love life and personal hygiene than to discuss money with friends.
