Top Cruise Destinations In The World

Going on a cruise is a popular vacation for a lot of folks, and it’s easy to see why. I mean who wouldn’t want to sail to a destination on a ship with more activities and food than you can possibly imagine? But while some people go on cruises just for the ship, where that ship is traveling to is important for a lot of folks.

Cruise Critic has just come out with their third annual Cruisers' Choice Destination Awards, naming the world's most popular cruise destinations, based entirely on consumer ratings. The awards rank the top destinations across 18 regions worldwide.

According to the site, the most popular cruise destination overall is Glacier Bay in Alaska, the third time the destination has topped the list. Other winners include Havana, Cuba, which was best in the Western Caribbean & Riviera Maya for the first time, Disney Cruise Line's Castaway Cay, winner of Best Cruise Line Private Island, Sydney, which was the Top Port in Australia and New Zealand and Curacao, the Top Port in the Southern Caribbean.
