The Lifetime channel will premiere the Gabby Petito movie at the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The stated mission of the Gabby Petito Foundation is to “provide aid to organizations that assist victims of domestic violence situations.” The program right after Lifetime’s made-for-TV movie is a documentary about Gabby’s troubled romance.
Last summer, Gabby’s fiancé, Brian Laundrie, strangled her while traveled across the country in a van. This month is the anniversary of tragic death.
The Gabby Petito Story will debut on October 1st. Lifetime released the first trailer. Producers announced, (quote) “The movie will bring to life Gabby and Brian’s doomed love story, including the warning signs that Gabby’s life was in danger.”
