Gen Zers are blaming their cellphones for a new issue they call "phone pinky," where the pinky finger bends or dents from holding a phone too long. The problem went viral on TikTok, with influencers sharing their bent pinkies, leading to over 163 million posts.

One user expressed concern over her "iPhone pinky," showing how her phone fit into the bend of her finger. Another noted a significant difference in her pinky's shape, while a Florida influencer decided to cut back on phone use after noticing a dent in her pinky.

Despite many claiming to have this issue, experts argue that pinky shapes vary and there's no official diagnosis for "phone pinky." Some suggest it could be an underlying condition or that resting the phone on the pinky might compress a nerve, leading to numbness or other joint issues.
