"Dance" Club Magic Lantern Reopens With Social Distancing

Christopher Brunelle, owner of the longtime strip club along Route 20 in Monson, says that he's following all of Governor Baker's guidelines for reopening. Six foot distancing, capacity reduced to 50 persons. The Magic Lantern has a food license so they are good to go.

Patrons must wear a mask at all times, only one performer on stage at a time, no private dances. And of course the dancers will wear a mask at all times.

“I’m trying to make the best of an impossible situation,” Brunelle said. “We still have bills that don’t stop. I’m not worried about making a profit. I’m just worried about making enough money to pay for the bills I have to pay.”
