Woman Turns Home Into McDonald's Shrine

You might think Taylor Gecking has gone a bit overboard with her love of all things McDonald’s. The home she and her husband Adam share has over 100 pieces of McDonald’s memorabilia inside, including toys, an actual McDonald’s sign taken from a restaurant in the 1970s, and walls painted red and yellow.

It all started with a random find at a flea market. The couple were on a road trip and stopped at a flea market, where Gecking found a stained-glass Ronald McDonald window. She fell in love with it, but the couple decided it was too expensive and left it there. A year later, they were in the same area and she asked to stop to see if it was still there. It was, but the price hadn’t changed, so they left it again. What Taylor didn’t know was that Adam made an eight-hour round-trip later that day to grab it and surprise her. Now that’s love.
