Worcester's own Cara Brindisi made it through the Voice Battles on Season 22, episode 9 of NBC’s “The Voice.”
She went head to head with Jay Allen and, although John Legend and Blake Shelton praised her opponent, Gwen chose Cara to move on in the competition!

Even though Jay Allen wasn't chosen, Gwen then used her save to keep him on the show. But the drama wasn't over yet as her hubby and fellow judge, Blake, used his steal to take Jay onto his team!
That could make for some awkward pillow talk!
