The fire department dispatched a team to check out the creek and make sure there were no hazardous materials in it. They soon figured out that a clogged drain at a nearby dairy plant had caused waste milk to overflow into the creek. The clog has since been fixed and the creek is now back to normal. Officials say there was no public health risk.
