Soy sauce is a very versatile condiment that can be used in everything from stir fry to salad dressings, marinades, and soups, but one TikToker is standing by her rather unusual use for soy sauce – as an ice cream topping.
Claire Dinhut, who goes by the name CondimentClaire on TikTok, explains in her video that she began drizzling soy sauce on vanilla ice cream years ago and loves it. Many followers tried it and have since expressed their support for the odd pairing. Claire adds that she also drizzles a little soy sauce on her pancakes along with maple syrup.
