Principal Starts A "Ripple Of Positivity" With Handwritten Notes

At Summit High School in Mansfield, Texas, Principal Jason Mutterer – lovingly known as “Coach Mutt” – gave his graduating seniors a send-off they’ll never forget.

Instead of just a handshake and a diploma, each of the 443 students received a handwritten letter and a crisp dollar bill.

Why a dollar?

Because, as he told them, “443 random acts of kindness can start a ripple of positivity and an impactful change.

Coach Mutt said it took him over 24 hours to write all those notes, but to him, it was worth every minute because this gift was more than just a farewell to the students. It was a challenge – to go out into the world and pay it forward.
