Ms. LePlant, fourth grade teacher at the Goddard School of Science and Technology, was honored as the October 2019 96-1 SRS Unibank Teacher of the Month.
Winning Letter:
My son usually hates school. This year, he loves it. He says his teacher is awesome. I went to the Know Your School Night and I was impressed. Never before had the whole curriculum presented to me as a parent. The classroom is decorated in such a way that I wanted to come to class too. She has incentive for kids so they want to behave. She has incorporated Typing in the curriculum which I believe is extremely beneficial for kids. So they know electronics is not just about games. The classes are done in a way that she can give individualized attention.
