Aaron E. Mastrorio Memorial ROTC Scholarship Fund ~ Live Comedy Show

JokeSmith Comedy in partnership with the host committee will be organizing a Live Comedy Show benefiting the Aaron E. Mastrorio Memorial ROTC Scholarship Fund from Worcester State University on Saturday, July 20th at Halligan’s Bar and Function Hall. Acts scheduled to perform include Ray Harrington, Will Noonan, and Pete Martin!!

Proceeds from this show are dedicated to helping students enrolled in the ROTC program who are following in Aaron Mastrorio’s footsteps in pursuit of a career in the military.

SPC Aaron Mastrorio was a combat medic in the United States Army and passed away in November of 2018 after suffering a massive heart attack during an Army training exercise for the Expert Field Medical Badge at Fort Bragg, NC. Originally from Worcester, MA, Aaron is described by family and friends as having a personality that brightened every room and a wit that brought tears of laughter to family gatherings. Making the most of his ability to make others laugh, Aaron performed in several live comedy shows and improv sketches during his time in Massachusetts. In 2014, Aaron relocated to Tampa, FL to be closer to his two brothers while continuing to spread laughter and amusement to everyone he encountered. Aaron met his wife in Tampa and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2017. Aaron was a natural born leader and his fellow soldiers looked up to him and went to him for guidance and support. This scholarship ensures Aaron will continue to have a positive impact on the lives of future soldiers indefinitely. The host committee is requesting a silent auction item to be auctioned off at the event. Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the scholarship fund. We kindly request your response by April 30th so we can adequately publicize your generous donation as we promote the show and ensure recognition during the program. We appreciate any support from Organizations like you to continue honoring the memory of SPC Aaron Mastrorio and investing in the future of our military.

Thank you for your consideration.
