Royal tea just keeps getting spilled in the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shocking announcement they'd be stepping down as "senior" working members of the House of Windsor. Not only are rumors of bullying between Prince Harry and Prince William swirling, a friend of Meghan Markle claims the Duchess of Sussex has no intentions of living in the U.K. ever again. Now, an anonymous source alleges the Duke of Sussex dropped many of his old friends while Meghan was pregnant with Archie.

According to a "well connected" royal source, People reports Prince Harry "cut off” many of his closest friends “about six months into” his wife's pregnancy. “Most no longer even have his cell number,” the source revealed. “They totally understand that men often drift from their friends after marriage, but there’s still a lot of resentment because they had been so close for so long.”

Harry hasn't grown apart from all his close friends, though. As People notes, he's still tight with former classmate Charlie van Straubenzee. The two pals attended Ludgrove Prep together when they were kids, attended each other's weddings in 2018 and van Straubenzee is even reported to be one of Archie's godparents, though that fact was never publicly confirmed by Harry and Meghan.

All royal rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, of course. However, if Harry did disconnect from former friends over the past year, it seems Meghan has taken the opposite approach. Amidst reports the Duchess has been "miserable" as a royal and "deeply, deeply hurt" by how she's been treated in the press and by her in-laws, she has leaned on her close friends, including Jessica Mulroney, Serena Williams and Abigail Spencer, from life before she married her husband.

Hopefully, Prince Harry will make new friends when he travels to Canada to be with Meghan and Archie. Maybe he'll even find some who don't spill all that royal tea to the tabloids.
