Ashley McBryde was gearing up for the Missoula, Montana stop of her "This Town Talks" tour on Wednesday, but had to postpone after sustaining injuries from a horseback riding accident.
The "One Night Standards" singer, who recently celebrated three sold out shows in Nashville, postponed Wednesday night's show after being hospitalized and receiving stitches from the incident. McBryde's team took to social media to update fans on her status, sharing:
"Ashley was enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse. After a trip to the hospital and a few stitches (and some very sore bones), she is recovering and doing her best to ensure she can play again as soon as possible.”
No word on when the CMA Award nominee will be fully recovered and ready to perform, but her schedule throughout the remainder of the year is all booked up. The "This Town Talks" tour is set to continue throughout the rest of 2021 and into 2022 before wrapping in January. McBryde is also slated to join Luke Combs for his "Beer Never Broke My Heart" tour this December in Las Vegas.
She also recently joined Carly Pearce on the new single entitled "Never Wanted To Be That Girl," which debuted at number 35 on the Billboard Country Charts. McBryde's next tour stops includes Seattle on September 25, and Portland on September 26 -- however, there's no word on whether the star will be able to attend. Her team released a statement saying:
"As soon as we have updates on other shows this week, we will make sure to let everyone know.”
Tickets for McBryde's show are currently still on sale at AshelyMcBryde.com.
