Jennifer Lopez shocked fans with a bold new look that bears a striking resemblance to another popular singer.
Lopez shared a series of stunning photos to Instagram on Monday (September 15) documenting her platinum blonde hair transformation for her role as Aurora in the upcoming film Kiss of the Spider Woman. The "Let's Get Loud" singer channeled old Hollywood glamour with her curled updo pushed back by a pink headband, pairing it with dramatic eye makeup and red lipstick. Another pic captured Lopez looking at fashion sketches while seemingly preparing to film a bathtub scene.
She reflected on her role in the musical thriller in the caption.
"Stepping into the role of Aurora felt like dancing through the golden age of cinema ... with all the glitz, glamour, and a whole lot of dancing," she wrote. "Stepping back into time has never been so much fun. ✨"
The look also made some fans do a double take as they couldn't help but draw comparisons to Gwen Stefani, per Page Six. The No Doubt singer is known for her own platinum 'do and often rocks a bold red lip similar to Lopez's new snaps.

"Thought this was Gwen Stefani at first glance," one commenter wrote, while another echoed the sentiment, "Omg I thought it was Gwen." Even Natasha Bedingfield noticed the similarity to the "Hollaback Girl" singer, writing, "Omg you look like @gwenstefani Love you sis."
Kiss of the Spider Woman comes out October 10.
