Milwaukee Landlord Reduces Rent During Corona Pandemic

Real Estate Sign For Rent

John Zutz is dropping his Milwaukee tenants’ rent for April to $100. He’s losing about a thousand-dollars in the deal, but he’s looking out for his renters who may be struggling.

"I see what's happening in the world, in the country, and I realize there's going to be a lot of people out of work, and they need help," Zutz said. "I'm not sure if my tenants need it or not. They may not need it, but I encourage them, if they don't need it, to spend the money in the neighborhood."

The landlord says he’ll see how things are going when the May rent is due and he encourages other landlords to do the same for their tenants if they can.

I'm giving this guy a standing slow clap.
