Despite warnings from their own Board of Health and the Governor's phased reopening, the town of North Brookfield is planning their "First Annual 4th of July Event" includes a parade in the morning, activities for the kids during the day, and a special laser light display on the common that evening.
Dale Kiley is the chairman of the Board of Selectmen and he's determined, despite warnings, for the event to mover forward. “I and the board of selectmen collectively do not think it is the problem that other people are saying, and I think if you do the numbers, that’s the case and that’s the case across the country," Kiley said.
More and more people are getting out and gathering outdoors. Would you attend this event?
