An Arkansas man visiting the Crater of Diamonds State Park uncovered what he initially thought was a shiny rock. It was a shiny rock alright! Turns out it was a 9.7 carat diamond, the second largest ever found at the park.
"It kind of looked interesting and shiny, so I put it in my bag and kept searching. I just thought it might've been glass," said Kevin Kinard, a 33 year-old bank manager "I honestly teared up when they told me. I was in complete shock."
