A 26-year-old for California gave his parents a touching gift using deepfake technology. Gagangdeep Singh Anand brought his grandparents “back to life” by animating old pictures of them on a website that uses AI technology.
The website, MyHeritage Deep Nostalgia, animates photos with surprisingly realistic results. You can bring historical figures like Mark Twainand Queen Victoriaback to life, or in Anand’s case, your grandparents. After playing around on the site, Anand shows his parents the results…and they were clearly moved by the gift.
