Pot Legal In Connecticut Just in Time for the Fourth

It’s official, adult – recreational – use of marijuana is legalized in Connecticut. Governor NedLamont signed the bill legalizing and regulating pot in the state in a public event yesterday, making Connecticut the 19thstate to legalize recreational pot for adults.

What that means? Beginning July 1st– that’s next Thursday – people over the age of 21 can possess up to an ounce and a half of pot on their person, or five ounces in their home or locked up in their vehicle.

Retail pot sales in the state will begin no earlier than May of next year.
