McDonald's Is Being Dissed and They're Not Lovin It

Two decades ago, Pusha T co-wrote the McDonald’s jingle, “I’m Lovin’ It.” Justin Timberlake earned $6 million to record it. The jingle became the longest-running marketing campaign in McDonald’s history.

Pusha T claimed Mickey-D’s paid him only “peanuts.” As payback, he provided to a McDonald’s competitor a diss track promoting Arby’s spicy fish sandwich. Pusha raps, (quote) “A little cube of fish from a clown is basic. Drowned in tartar, that Filet-O-Fish is tasteless.”

Pusha told Rolling Stone, (quote) “I am solely responsible for the ’I’m Lovin‘ It’ swag and the jingle of that company. That’s just real. I am the reason. Now I gotta crush it.”
