A janitor at Davis Park Elementary School in Terre Haute, Indiana, has been asked to sing for school events for years, and this year the staff and students were treated to Richard Goodall’s rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin’” at the fifth-grade graduation…and the video of his performance has gotten over three million views so far on TikTok.
It gets better. As the clip started going viral, it caught the attention of none other than Steve Perry, the co-writer of the song and former frontman for Journey, who retweeted the clip with the caption “I love this,” a comment he repeated on the TikTok video. His plans for the future? He says he’ll keep working as a janitor at the school.
