It was a picture reminiscent of Judd Nelson’s iconic raised fist from “The Breakfast Club” - but this was Zac Efron, same pose, in front of Salt Lake High School East - or as fans of the “High School Musical” franchise know it, “East High”.
“Don’t you…forget about me”, Zac posted beneath the photo - furthering both the “Breakfast Club” connection AND spurring rumors that perhaps he and castmate Vanessa Hudgins - who posted something similar to Instagram a few weeks back - might be returning in some capacity to “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”. The series Season Three returns this Wednesday to Disney+ - so perhaps we’ll find out then since no one seems to be talking.
