The summer is winding down and although temps this week are a little cooler there's plenty of heat left.

Massachusetts residents have felt the pressure of oppressive heat waves and humid temperatures for the majority of the summer months. Before families prepare to send their students back to school, plan a trip to one of New England’s best water parks.

The Worcester county indoor water resort is said to have water attractions for all age groups.

One of New England’s oldest water and amusement parks — open since 1846 — offers an assortment of
unique water rides and attractions for its guest.

The self-proclaimed “Thrill Capital of New England,” hosts Hurricane Harbor, a large water park packed
with splash zones and high-adrenaline water rides for all age groups.

This New Hampshire waterpark has multiple rafting water ride adventures, including a water-based scare
ride, “Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror,” that drops a raft of two down a 40-foot tunnel of terror.
