A couple in Kansas have stumbled upon multiple hidden treasures inside the Victorian mansion they purchased two years ago. Thad and Robin Krasnesky bought the place to use as a rescue for “cats, raccoons, and fish, and even rats”. However, the 140-year-old home contained tons of surprises including secret rooms and hidden valuables.
Since moving in before the holidays in 2021, the two have discovered things like: jars of silver coins, a presentation cane from the Civil War, a box full of equestrian ribbons from the 1930s, books dating back as far as 1907, and yes…even a hidden room. Their latest find is a mystery box with no key which the couple is currently working on cracking open.
