t's that time of year again … when people take sides in the great candy corn debate. Is it a fun, delicious seasonal candy? Or is it a dull, waxy confection that serves no purpose? But there is one thing both sides may actually agree on, and that's whether or not the little candies belong in sausages.
Anoka Meat and Sausage, a butcher in Anoka, Minnesota, is now selling candy corn bratwurst. They announced their new Frankensausage creation on Facebook saying, "Candy Corn Brats! We made up something special for the upcoming Halloween season. Available as soon as tomorrow, stop by and pick up this delicious new flavor! It’s a sweet & salty treat perfect for fall." As you might expect, the reaction has been mixed.
