, arrived home after a 12 hour shift to see her Chicopee home up in flames. The fire has displaced her family of four and they are now staying at a nearby hotel for the foreseeable future.
“If it isn’t enough that my sister has been risking her life caring for COVID-19 patients while providing for her family this is another tragedy that she doesn’t deserve to face,” family wrote on a fundraising page. “I know times are tough for everyone right now but if anyone knows my sister they know she deserves to get as much help as she can get.”
Family organized a GoFundMe to help offset the cost of the damage. It reached more than $15,000 worth of donations as of Wednesday morning.
