“Sesame Street” and CNN teamed up to address kids’ and their parents’ concerns about coronavirus over the weekend, holding a virtual town hall dubbed “The ABC’s of COVID-19.” Big Bird moderated the 90-minute event alongside CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, welcoming experts and “Sesame Street” characters.
Together, the group answered questions by kids and their families dealing with issues like education, anxiety, screen time and play dates during quarantine. Highlights included Dr. Gupta teaching Elmo how to properly wash his and hands and Oscar the Grouch’s PSA on “the perks of social distancing.” Who couldn't see that coming?
