A Florida woman showed up to vote while in labor and wouldn't go to the hospital until she voted!
Her husband was driving and parked and went in to get his wife a mail-in ballot. An early voting clerk for the Supervisor of Elections said another staffer issued the ballot for the woman and waited while she filled it out in her car.
Nobody said why the woman decided that she showed up to vote while in labor. "Maybe she wanted to come in person at one point and that's why she was waiting who knows. But she wouldn't go to the hospital until she voted," said one poll worker. "It kind of validates what we do and the importance of voting."
