Some people have already seen their stimulus money show up. Some have already spent it (we're looking at
you, Zito!) But are sill lots of folks who haven't seen the dough show up.
Firstly, if you file your federal income tax electronically and get your refund via direct deposit, you probably already got your money or soon will. If not, there's some waiting to do, but there are some ways to try and find when you'll receive it.
Calling your bank won't help, or the IRS. The best bet is to go to IRS.gov and use the "Get My Payment" tool.
Paper checks are apparently being mailed through January. The way to post office is running these days that could mean mid February or later for some people.
It's also important to remember that some people will be receiving those plastic debit cards! If you get a plain looking piece of mail that looks like a credit card be sure to check it before you chuck it!
