Ed Sheeran is at home quarantining after testing positive for COVID, but he still found a way to connect with fans in a pretty unique way.
The singer had a futuristic virtual avatar set up in London’s Leicester Square, with a tablet strapped to a man’s head. Ed then directed the man around square and the camera flipped on surprising fans and having a chat with them.
Topics of discussion included Ed’s most embarrassing moment, which he said was “pissing himself” at school when he was nine, plus he was asked about his Halloween costume, and he said he was going to be a “Squid Game” guard. He also treated some “Harry Potter Lego kits to patrons of the Lego store.
