Jim Carrey slapped Hollywood for giving Will Smith a standing ovation at the Oscars. Well, now moments from the 1997 MTV Movie Awards has resurfaced... where Carrey kissed other celebs at the event. One in particular was Alicia Silverstone, who was just 20 years old.
Silverstone presented an award to Carrey. During his acceptance speech, he planted a surprise kiss on her! Reports at the them said that she felt "humiliated" by this and that Carrey did apologize to her backstage.
Another video from those awards resurfaced, and in this one, Carrey is attempting to kiss the man he just spoke out against, Will Smith. During the awards, Smith won "Best Kiss" with Vivica A. Fox in "Independence Day." While accepting the award, Carrey attempted to kiss Smith. One Twitter user wrote, “By today’s standards (whether you agree or not), this is s-xual assault and he should be arrested. If Will gotta go, Jim gotta go too.”
