Traffic on I-70 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was shut down after a truck spilled 15,000 pounds of hot dog filler all over the road.

The slimy, pink slurry of meat byproduct and preservatives had been stored in large plastic bags which tore open when they fell out of the overturned truck. Police say the driver was speeding and lost control of the truck. He and a passenger suffered minor injuries and a ticket was issued. The hot dog filler was cleaned up off the road and is not inedible.
