Three women were filmed trashing a Ludlow Street Bel Fries on Manhattan’s Lower East Side around 4 a.m. on Saturday after they were told extra sauce would cost them $1.75.
The two employees working at the time suffered from head lacerations, and the temper tantrum from the three women caused between $10k and $20k worth of damage. All three women face robbery and criminal mischief charges, and one of them is in jail on additional charges of assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct; she punched an officer in the face when police arrived on the scene.
