A former basketball star from Worcester's Dougherty Memorial High School and Worcester State University was killed last weekend while walking along I-290. He leaves behind a 4-year-old son, a mom, and a sister.
His mom and sister are left with dealing with their grief as well as the prospect of raising the child, and of course funeral expenses. A GoFundMe has been set up to help.
