A chef in Australia has had it with vegans, so that he says they’re no longer welcome at his restaurant. Chef John Mountain runs Fyre in the city of Perth and after a heated back and forth with a customer, says, “Sadly all vegans are now banned from Fyre (for mental health reasons).”
So, what set Mountain off? The chef recalls saying he could accommodate a vegan diner when she called before coming in. However, her reservation had slipped his mind on a busy night, and being unsatisfied with her dining experience, she left a scathing review after her meal. However, Mountain took this personally. After a couple of choice four-letter words in his response, the chef concluded, saying, “How very childish. You and all your vegan mates can all go and enjoy your dishes in another venue. You are now banned.”
