According to a new study, dogs pay more attention to women than men when they are being spoken to. Scientists in Norway had dogs listen to the voices of both men and women and found that the dogs had greater brain sensitivity to women speaking than to men. Basically, the dogs better understood speech directed at them by women than by men. Good dog!
Clearly dogs listen carefully to what women say, dispelling the notion that men are dogs!
