Do you use ellipses – you know, those three dots (…) – in your texts? Well, you’re showing your age. According to Gen Z, those are "boomer ellipses." As Adam Aleksic explains in a reel, this "Boomer" habit stems from the early days of SMS when texts were charged per message.

Boomers, aiming to economize, crammed multiple thoughts into one text using ellipses. Gen Z, who know nothing but unlimited messaging, finds this relic of the past both amusing and perplexing.
