Some massage parlors come up with unique ways to serve their clients, and now that list of new ideas includes “setting the customer on fire.” A viral video from a South Asian country shows a massage parlor with three attendants around a client lying on a table with a towel over them. One of the attendants sets the client on fire, and another turns off the lights for a better look.

A few seconds later, one of the attendants covers the fire with a thick, wet towel to put the flames out. Chinese and Tibetan folk medicine includes “Fire dragon therapy,” which is covering someone with an alcohol-soaked towel and setting it on fire to help normalize the body’s temperature balance and alleviate pain in muscles and joints. Of course, they also believe being set on fire reduces stress, so your mileage may vary.
