Two miniature Highland cows tied the knot at Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life in Oxford County on Friday evening, delighting a big crowd of visitors. Bride Muriel wore a white gown and a flower crown while walking down a grassy aisle to meet Rhett, who sported a traditional Highland kilt. Farm co-owner Cheryl Haskett said Muriel needed both a friend and “future boyfriend,” so staff searched for “the most handsome boy” and raised the calves in neighboring pastures.
Guests kept urging the farm to hold a wedding, so workers planned one with written vows. Haskett asked Rhett if he promised to nuzzle only Muriel and share his hay; he answered with a loud “I moo.” A goat named Queen Victoria and her kids joined the party, and dozens of people clapped, tossed a bouquet, and snapped photos. The happy pair sealed their union with a playful head-butt and headed to a honeymoon stall, with hopes of a calf in about nine months.
