A Spirit Halloween store in Plano, Texas has everything you could think of for Halloween -- trendy costumes, spooky decorations, a live monkey wearing a diaper. OK, that last one wasn't supposed to be there -- but it was, and the scene was totally bananas on Monday.
Shoppers were browsing the aisles when they suddenly spotted a diaper-wearing monkey swinging from the rafters and poles. An employee said the monkey was in the store with its owner when it got spooked by one of the scary animatronics and took off. It remained on the loose inside the store for about 30 minutes while staff and shoppers tried to catch it. Police were eventually called in, and with the help of the monkey's owner, used a cookie to lure the frightened primate down from the rafters. Luckily, no one was hurt.
