A batch of bagpipers has landed themselves in the Guinness Book of World Records. In Melbourne, Australia, 374 pipers gathered together to do their thing. Now, normally, the thought of that might sound excruciating, but this was Australia, and Melbourne is where AC/DC was scheduled to play a couple of days later.
So, to celebrate, the pipers whipped out their tribute by playing “It’s a Long Way to the Top if You Wanna Rock & Roll.” This event broke the previous bagpiping record of 333 pipers, set in Bulgaria in 2012.
