In Russia, floor walks on robot. Russia's first humanoid robot fell during its presentation in Moscow. The robot, called AIdol, was being shown off as able to move around, move objects, and interact with people, but during the presentation, the robot walked on stage with two people while the theme from "Rocky" played. Then it fell down, and staff members quickly tried to cover it with a screen to hide it from the audience while they worked on fixing the problem.
The developers said the fall happened because of test settings and explained that the project is still in the testing phase. AIdol is described as Russia's first anthropomorphic robot, meaning it's designed to look and move like a human. No word on how much trouble the engineers found themselves in.
