She was "Born In The U.S.A." .. and New Jersey to be exact, and now Halsey is channeling her Jersey roots in her latest tease on the countdown to her upcoming new album, The Great Impersonator.

For their latest impersonation, Halsey transformed into "NJ'S finest AKA The Boss AKA Bruce Springsteen," to tease Great Impersonator song, "LETTER TO GOD (1983)." Halsey added in the caption, "This one requires no explanation, I’m a Jersey girl."

In the photo, Halsey recreated Springsteen's "Born In The U.S.A. Tour" poster in a white t-shirt, distressed jeans, and mid guitar strum, in front of an American Flag background.

So far in this Great Impersonator countdown, Halsey has impersonated Dolly Parton, PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, Cher, David Bowie, Evanescence's Amy Lee, The Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan, and Stevie Nicks.

The Great Impersonator, which is set to be released on October 25th, is Halsey's fifth studio album following 2021's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, and features previously-released tracks like "Lucky," "Lonely Is The Muse" and "Ego." She has said of her new set of songs, "I made this record in the space between life and death. And it feels like I’ve waited an eternity for you to have it. I’ll wait a bit longer. I’ve waited a decade, already."
